SWAN Districts is now the proud owner of another piece of Bill Walker memorabilia, thanks to a Bassendean school.

Anzac Terrace Primary School principal Stuart Blackwood gave the club a framed shirt signed by the four-time Sandover Medallist and All-Australian.

He presented it to Swans vice-president Andrew Holmes at a recent club president’s lunch.

In the mid-1980s, the school named their sports factions after Bill Walker and other local famous people.

“Thank you to Stuart for this great gesture and one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia,” Mr Holmes said.

Swans’ next game is away to Peel Thunder on June 25.
