LAST Sunday, the Bullsbrook Saints hosted the second placed Gidgegannup Bulldogs in a must-win match for the Saints to keep in touch with the top four and keep their finals hopes alive.
A win was made even more vital with the fourth-placed Parkerville downing Chidlow the day before.
In perfect conditions for football, the game was a free flowing spectacle, often at times displayed with outstanding skills from both sides.

In the third quarter, the Saints put their foot down and were rewarded for their effort, kicking away to a 30-point lead at the last break.
The last quarter saw the Saints dominate play and eventually run out 52-point victors.
Final scores Bullsbrook 15.15 (105) to Gidgegannup 8.5 (53).
