Docker delight for Ellen Stirling Primary students

Darcy Tucker, Tanner Smith, Harley Balic, Matthew Uebergang and Ryan Nyhuis held a workshop at the Ellenbrook school as a reward for raising the most money earlier this year for The Starlight Children’s Foundation, which helps brighten the lives of seriously ill kids.

The school held a “Purple Haze Day”, dressing up in the colour for a gold coin donation.

For the fourth year in a row, Ellen Stirling raised the most money, with a record total of $2430 this year.

Principal Dr Dean Goldspink the fundraising event was again a great success.

“It is so humbling to see children raising money for others with such greater needs than themselves,” he said.

“It shows a real sense of respect and empathy on behalf of the school community.”
