Ellenbrook teenager wins second taekwondo medal in a month at Malaysian Open

The 14-year-old won gold in his division against competitors from India, China, Uzbekistan and Macau at the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur recently.

Representing the Beechboro-based Rawlins Taekwondo Club, Harrison also took out first place at the national taekwondo championships in Victoria in August.

Rawlins Taekwondo won eight gold, two silver and four bronze medals overall in Malaysia, as well as the title of best team in the competition.
