Ellenbrook United Football Club tests out new synthetic pitch

THE new synthetic playing fields at Ellenbrook District Open Space are open , used for the first time on Tuesday by Ellenbrook United Football Club.

Juniors took to the pitch for a training session on the four FIFA 1 Star-rated fields, which boast the largest synthetic surface in the southern hemisphere.

The district-level facility is able to accommodate small-sided futsal, AFL, touch rugby and ultimate Frisbee when it is not booked for soccer.

An official opening hosted by the City of Swan will take place on Saturday, September 17.
