Ellenbrook thirds managed a convincing 45-point win over Willetton to move up to fourth on the ladder.

Coach Jeremy Thorn said the team was playing well.

“The playing group has banded together over the past few weeks and this is showing with positive results,” he said.

Thirds play second-placed Noranda this week, which will test player depth.

Colts also managed a scrappy 22-point win over Kwinana to lock in fourth place on the ladder.

Colts this week are up against top-of-the-ladder Jandakot, who are the hunted in the competition, without a loss so far.

Reserve and league grades travelled to Mosman Park and both sides faced a tough opponent.

Reserves continued their winning form with a four-point win, but league lost a five-goal three-quarter time lead to lose by two points.

The league squad held on to third place on the ladder as the team travels to face an improving Belmont Districts this week.
