Football: Ellenbrook Eels claims 3 wins out of 4

ELLENBROOK Senior Football Club had all four teams play at home on Saturday and managed three wins.

Covering both grounds, the colts and reserves both managed fantastic wins against some quality opposition in Kwinana and Dianella Morley. Third grade almost gave away a 20-point three-quarter time lead against ECU to just scrape over the line by a single point.

League had an arm wrestle throughout the game against a well-drilled Dianella Morley that had all spectators on the edge of their seats, but unfortunately went down in the last minute by five points 9.14 (68) to 10.13 (73).

The margin continues to show just how close the competition is this year, as Ellenbrook sit fifth on the ladder and only just one game away from top spot.

This week Ellenbrook faces off against sixth-placed Cottesloe in the clash of the round.
