Holy Cross College downed Swan Valley Anglican Christian (SVAC) 28-27 in a thriller.

A few three pointers and fast-paced goals kept the score close in the first half, with SVAC a narrow 13-11 leader.

With two minutes left on the clock and the score at 27-25, SVAC lost a player to an ankle injury.

SVAC had the ball on the sideline but HCC star Ajang Ajang intercepted.

With five seconds left, Ajang sprinted down the court and with a gigantic leap scored a three pointer, with the ball just falling through the hoop before the buzzer.

Next week, ESC Warriors are back on their home court against SVAC while ECC take on Holy Cross College.

Tip-off is at 3.30pm.
