Local rodeo star has rivals covered

Photographer Kylie Rowe caught a great photo of Muchea’s Hunta Gallacher (11) in action perched upon her horse Tex barrel racing at the Mullewa Muster.

‘I was flabbergasted when I saw Hunta picked to be on the front of the magazine out of hundreds of people across Australia ” it really is amazing,’ grandmother Sheila said.

‘Both Hunta and brother Trey do barrel racing and love it ” our daughter Jodie has a lot of trophies, so it’s great to see the kids loving rodeo too.’

The rodeo lovers were 15 hours away from home up in Onslow last week in preparation for participation in the Tamworth finals in January.
