Local sports clubs invited to take part in Department of Sport and Recreation workshops

COMMUNITY clubs and associations can take part in a free program of six workshops run by the Department of Sport and Recreation.

The workshops are for anyone who helps with the operations of a sport or recreation club and wants to improve their organisation.

Topics will include how to run your club (February 8), operational planning and goal setting (March 1), managing your club people (March 22), financial management (April 12), marketing and sponsorship (May 3) and effective teams (May 24).
