Jade (14) is the latest nominee for the HBF Junior Sports Hero Awards.

The WA Institute of Sport asked the teenager to join its Talent Identification Squad in September 2012 and she repaid their faith in full with a gold and three silver medals at the WA Junior State track Cycling Championships.

Jade also represented WA in the National Junior Track Championships last month and recently did SCC’s charity ride from Perth to Albany across to Bunbury and home in eight days.
