KATE Beveridge plays her 150th game when West Coast Fever host Queensland Firebirds at Perth Arena tonight.
She trained with her Fever team-mates on Wednesday morning at the State Netball Centre ahead of their first home game of the 2017 Super Netball season.
Captain Nat Medhurst said the Beveridge milestone game and their first match of the season at their new official home venue was important.

READ NOW“I know the girls will be up and about to be back on their home court in front of our supporters,” Medhurst said.
“You’d like to think you can show up and play no matter what the crowd is or whether you’re home or away, but I think the reality is when you do have your home crowd behind you and they get up and about it does give you a boost.
“They’re our 11th player, so they definitely back us up and generate a bit of intensity out there on court.”
