McBean’s football experience has been extensive, including positions with AFL NSW and Sydney Swans, the WA Football Commission, development manager, football manager, development squad coach with Swan Districts FC, football and talent manager at Subiaco FC where he worked alongside Subiaco’s premiership coaches including Scott Watters.

He has also been a league assistant coach at Subiaco FC and more recently held the position of league assistant coach at Peel Thunder.
