NETBALL clubs that promote inclusion are invited to nominate for a national award.

The One Netball Community Awards are open to clubs, associations and their members across Australia, celebrating those who excel at ensuring people of all backgrounds, skills and abilities are welcome.

There will be up to nine winners announced by an independent judging panel on August 28.

One Netball ambassador and Sunshine Coast Lightning player Geva Mentor said she was inspired by the work of previous winners.

“I’ve been so lucky to have the opportunity to meet everyday people doing such extraordinary things,” she said.

Nominate at www.onenetball.org.au by July 30.
