South Midlands Pony Club riders set for national championships

Tegan Court (15) and her pony Summer were selected to ride in the Junior Prince Philip Mounted Games Team.

Casey Booth (18) and her pony Diva were selected to ride in the Senior Prince Philip Mounted Games Team.

South Midlands member Tessa Forbes was also selected for the junior team but had to withdraw because of injury.

This will be the first time the games teams have transported their ponies to the Eastern States.

Every other year they have ridden borrowed ponies.

WA will be sending 35 riders and their mounts to compete against other states and territories in either dressage, eventing, show jumping, tetrathalon or mounted games.
