Speedway action steps into top gear

The race has attracted entries from 35 drivers ” the largest field in the history of the event ” including Matt Pascoe, Steve Jordan, Mick Nicola, Michael Miller, Justin Smithwick, Matthew Williams and Dave Gartner from interstate.

Of the interstate contingent, Nicola and Jordan are both former national champions.

Pascoe and Gartner have placed in the top three at the national titles in previous years.

The quartet are regular competitors in the National Super Sedan Series and frequently grace the podium in the gruelling 12-race series.

Former WA state titleholders Frank Does and Bert Vosbergen will be hoping to add another title to their resumes.

A full support program of Street Stocks, Production Sedans and Junior Sedans will also be competing.

The WA Super Sedan State Title will be held at 3pm. Gates open at noon.
