READ NOWMollie is a member of West Coasts Gymnastics Club. She was placed in the acrogymnastics class where she quickly progressed to level 5.
“In acrogymnastics you need to put your trust in others and rely on others to perform the skill because if it is performed incorrectly, there can be serious injuries,” she said.
“I am one part of a duo and I am the base for my partner.”
Mollie is also training for the WA Spring State Championships in October. She will vie for the level 5 acrogymnastics ladies pairs category.
“I will be so happy and proud (if I win) and it will show how far I have come,” she said.
“This year I have had the opportunity to design my partner’s and my leotards for the competition and I am looking forward to seeing this made.”
Mollie has been nominated for the Junior Sports Star Individual category in the Community Newspaper Group’s Local Sports Star Awards.
