WACA Premier Cricket: Midland-Guildford’s struggles continue with loss to Bayswater-Morley

MIDLAND-Guildford continues to struggle this season, with another disappointing display against Bayswater-Morley in round six of Premier Cricket on Saturday.

The Monkey Towners were no match for Mitch Todd, who hammered his second consecutive hundred to guide his side home at Lilac Hill.

After Midland-Guildford made 161 on day one, the Bears declared at 4-247 in reply, led by Todd’s 121.

Jack Baker was the pick of the bowlers with 2-45, while Ash Mucciarone toiled away with 1-28 from 13 overs.

In Midland-Guildford’s second innings they finished 2-70 at stumps, as Keaton Critchell remained not out with 23.

In the female A-grade Twenty20 competition on Sunday, Midland-Guildford lost by 55 runs to leaders South Perth at Lilac Hill.

There are now only two rounds before the start of the Women’s Big Bash League for the Perth Scorchers.
