WAFL: Swan Districts among clubs pushing for increased membership

SWAN Districts and West Perth are among WAFL clubs pitching for more members this season.

West Perth captain Jay van Berlo said 2017 promised to be an exciting year for the Falcons.

He said there was “a host of talented young kids pushing for regular senior selection”.

“Senior players such as leading goal kicker Michael Lourey and valuable swing man Tyler Keitel are both crucial to the improvement of the side.

“As captain, and on behalf of the playing group, we are committed to improving and will continue to strive to be the best.

He thanked members for the support.

“We look forward to seeing you all this season as we all work together on securing premiership number 20,” he said.

Swan Districts membership enables free entry to league games when arriving at quarter-time of the colts match.

The membership also includes access to post-match awards and bar discount.
