WAFL: Swan Districts face league leaders Subiaco on back of loss to Sharks

Montana ArdonThe Advocate

SWAN DISTRICTS will have their work cut out for them on Saturday at Leederville Oval when they face top of the table Subiaco.

The cellar dwellers went down by three goals to East Fremantle on the weekend, despite the good work of Kirk Ugle and Todd Banfield who kicked two goals each.

The reserves and colts were also defeated by the visitors at Bassendean Oval.

The sixth-placed reserves will seek redemption against the fifth-placed Lions, after being taught a lesson by the Sharks.

Despite East Fremantle’s inaccuracy, the reserves went down by 27 points.

A disappointing goalless final quarter from the colts side saw East Fremantle come from behind to win by 11 points.

The fourth-placed colts should be able to turn their luck around this weekend against bottom-placed Subiaco, who are yet to win a game this season.
