The five-member north west metropolitan Development Assessment Panel approved the Rowe Group’s application for a McDonalds drive-through outlet on Butler Boulevard on January 23.
Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts moved the officer’s recommendation, seconded by councillor Frank Cvitan and carried unanimously, to approve the $3.3 million restaurant with nine conditions.
The panel then considered amendments to another application for the future Ashby Tavern, outlining changes to its facade and floor level, before the Wanneroo elected members left the meeting at 2.08pm, eight minutes after it started.
