Bakery rise to the challenge

The competition was searching for the best authentic sourdough Viennas and traditional croissants at Bakers Delight’s 600 bakeries.

‘To take out top honours in such a high quality competition is a real testament to the efforts of my team,’ Bakers Delight Woodvale operator Cheryl Anderson said.

‘We have won this award a few times now and it just goes to show how dedicated our bakers are at their craft.’

The soughdour Vienna is crafted by hand over a 20-hour process, Ms Anderson said.
