After last week’s announcement that Myer would open on November 20, centre management has named five other new stores.
The first Mecca Maxima in WA will be in Joondalup, stocking more than 65 beauty brands, and fashion outlets will include Sheike and |Bardot.
There will also be a Napoleon make-up store, jeweller Swarovski and footwear shop Wittner in the centre.
Lakeside Joondalup marketing manager Kimberley McCone said she was excited customers could experience brands new to Perth.
‘The introduction of Mecca Maxima, along with other great retail brands, allows us to do this,’ she said. ‘Their products bring a fresh new feel to the centre while at the same time complementing our existing retail offering.’
More retailers will be announced over the coming weeks as part of the redevelopment.
Lakeside Joondalup shopping city will become the biggest shopping centre in WA, housing a Myer department store, the expanded Coles, 125 new specialty shops and the multi-deck carpark.
The shopping centre will expand from 71,000sq m to 97,000sq m.
