The Tapping resident has imported a replica of the car used in the UK sitcom Only Fools and Horses with the aim of hiring out the van for special occasions.
‘In the UK, there is a craze at the moment using an identical three-wheeled van to the one they use in the show, for hire for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, business promotion,’ Mr Peden said.
‘There are a lot of people from the UK in Perth who would know this iconic comedy classic car, so I have bought a trotter van to hire out as a bit of fun for people who are looking for something different.’

READ NOWMr Peden, who is part of The Young at Heart Comedy Roadshow, said it was a first for Perth and possibly even Australia.
He has spent the past two months restoring the 1969 Reliant Regal Supervan MK3 to get it roadworthy, though it is to be used for display only at this stage.
It has been painted yellow with a leopard-print interior and comes with props including sheepskin, phone, cap and jacket to go with the photos.
‘I believe that people still want to have a bit of fun in life and this is an ideal way of doing something that they will remember for years to come,’ he said.
Mr Peden said he would eventually like to use the van hire to raise money for charities.
The van will be at the Tulle Wedding Expo at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, June 22.
