Kingsway Olympic Sports Club's Steven Nelkovski said the functions, to be held every two months, would bring local businesses together to strengthen relationships as well as their brands.

"We just really want to encourage everyone in the local community to attend. It benefits everyone," he said.

He said a lot of "exciting things" were happening at the club and they wanted to ensure it was open to the community.

"We are continuing to evolve the business side of it and getting people to the club, but also getting people within the community working together as well to achieve their business objectives," he said.

He said Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts would be guest speaker at the first function to be held in the clubrooms on May 20, starting at 7pm.

"It will continue to evolve and there will be other opportunities as we begin to expand the event," he said.

"We're pretty confident that we are going to have a pretty good speaker every two months."

The club is at lot 7993 Kingsway Road in Madeley.
