An initiative of the Garden Centres Association of Australia, garden RELEAF will be on March 7 and 8, with events held at Dawson’s Garden World in Joondalup and Waldecks in Kingsley.

The Mini Gardeners workshops will run from 10.30am at Dawson’s Garden World, with kids planting a vegetable or flower seedling to take home and grow for a gold-coin donation to beyondblue.

Information talks will also be held for a gold-coin donation and staff will dress in blue and have blue-themed displays around the garden centres to support beyondblue.

Waldecks will also have Mini Gardeners workshops, scented and herb displays and talks at 11am and 2pm on both days discussing anxiety and depression and how gardening can help.
