Enterprise Park was awarded Best Business and Industrial Park at the council’s Innovation and Excellence Awards in Sydney on June 3.

The LandCorp estate is home to more than 250 businesses and has generated about 10,000 local jobs and $37 billion for the state economy.

“In Enterprise Park, we have delivered a successful and sustainable industrial development which today is an economic hub in Perth’s rapidly growing northern corridor,” chief executive Frank Marra said.

“It was also the first industrial estate in WA to include design guidelines, setting a new benchmark for industrial land development in the state.”

City of Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts congratulated the developer on its award.

“Enterprise Park has long been recognised as one of Perth’s most successful industrial estates,” she said.

“But for it to be acknowledged as the best in Australia is wonderful, and certainly deserved recognition.

“If you look back 40 years ago, only 11 per cent of Wanneroo residents were employed locally – that figure is around 40 per cent today, with Enterprise Park being a key to achieving this.”
