THE $20 million redevelopment of Wanneroo Central shopping centre is expected to finish mid-year and will include Funky Mexican Cantina and Hog’s Breath Cafe.

Charter Hall Retail Management announced this week that the food outlets would be the first tenants to join the expanded centre and were set to open within the dining and town square precinct in mid-2018.

“We are excited to welcome Funky Mexican Cantina and Hog’s Breath Cafe to the new Wanneroo Central,” head of retail development Yvette Keatings said.

“Over the coming weeks, we look forward to announcing more exciting brands to join the centre, providing our shoppers with a fresh new range of food, product and service options.”

Pindan started rebuilding the centre last November, and the upgrade will include an Aldi supermarket.
