The JBA president was speaking last week at the association’s AGM at Joondalup Reception Centre.

Despite having the most members out of northern suburbs business associations, which included Wanneroo and Stirling, growth beyond JBA’s 308 members was needed.

He said JBA, which this year hosted business awards, a golf day, sundowners and breakfasts, should give members value for their $295 fee.

He thanked sponsors and stakeholders, like West Coast Institute, which provided hospitality students as volunteers for its recent auction for The Spiers Centre.
