OVER the past 12 months, several surf lifesaving towers have been installed at popular beaches around Perth and Mandurah thanks to a Wangara business.

The observation platforms, which will be used by Surf Life Saving WA, have been designed and constructed by Emineo Engineering Services.

“We’re really proud to be awarded the contract to design and build the platforms,” director Paul Dooley, said.

“We’re often asked to create bespoke pieces.

“With the observation platforms, we needed to design something that could withstand coastal conditions and was adaptable to individual requirements.”

He said the platforms were easy to install and could be assembled to suit the surrounding landscape, meaning there is little, or no, impact on the coastal environment.

So far platforms have been installed at City Beach, Scarborough, Sorrento, Mullaloo, Quinns Beach, Town Beach in Mandurah and Pyramids Beach in Port Bouvard.
