Naturopath’s ideas a cut above

The idea to design a product that would support the head and relieve pressure and strain on the neck came after several of her clients complained of injury from hair salon sinks.

The resulting product, the HeadBed, received immediate attention from UK hairdresser Adrian Hanlon, prompting an invitation to the London Salon International expo last month.

‘Through the normal channels of advertising like magazines and word of mouth maybe we could have taken a year or two to penetrate the Australian market, but with the internet it’s just opened it up,’ Ms Randabel said.
