RAC roadside assistance vans are wearing moustaches this November as part of a fundraising initiative for the Movember Foundation.

The RAC is asking people to take photos with the patrol vans and post them on social media. Every photo will earn $5 for the charity that promotes awareness of men’s health issues.

Most of the RAC’s patrol mechanics were men, which is why the campaign was so important to them, motoring general manager Mark Weller said.

“This campaign allows us to bring men’s health issues to the forefront and talk about them with our staff and our members.

“A number of our patrols have survived prostate cancer and it affects everyone… No one should have to go through it alone.”
