THE Banksia Grove town centre will expand next year with the addition of two supermarkets.
A $32 million commercial development featuring Woolworths was approved by the North-West Metropolitan Development Assessment Panel in July and an Aldi store was given the go-ahead by the panel in August.
Banksia Grove Management general manager Tony Naughtin said both stores were expected to open in late 2017.
“Woolworths hopes to commence construction on a supermarket within the district centre precinct, which is expected to open in November next year,” he said.
“And Aldi’s development application has also been approved, with work due to begin early in 2017.”
