THE wait was worth it for students who recently celebrated their school ball.
Year 11 and 12 students from Wanneroo Secondary College and its Joondalup senior school campus came together at Joondalup Resort for a floral-themed evening titled All in Bloom.

READ NOWHead of Year 12 Stephen Thomson thanked the ball committee and staff for their efforts in organising this special event.
“Our Year 12 students once again excelled and exceeded all expectations with their outstanding outfits and exemplary behaviour with Joondalup Resort staff mentioning several times how polite and well-mannered they were throughout the evening,” he said.
Beau of the ball was awarded to Ashish Kafle and belle of the ball went to Mikayla Wrafter.
Other awards were presented to Pariss Tindal-Davies and Rhys Davies for best dressed, Mallory Munn and Robbie Mills for most uniquely dressed, Dewi Ida Aya and James Edwards for best movers and Stephanie Daga and Nathan Scholes for cutest couple.
Bachelorette of the Ball was also awarded to Dharti Patel and Bachelor of the Ball to Jayden Daniels, while Year 11 Princess went to Paige Smith and Year 11 Prince to Chad MacPherson.
