ACTOR Josh Flaherty is looking to make audiences cry with laughter when he appears in the sequel to Run For Your Wife at Wanneroo’s Limelight Theatre.
Written by Ray Cooney and directed by Susan Vincent, Caught in the Net is set 18 years later with taxi driver John Smith still a bigamist.
He keeps his two families in different parts of London, both happy and blissfully unaware of each other.

When John realises his children are about to meet each other, he frantically tries to keep them apart aided and abetted by his lodger Stanley.
Mayhem ensues as the situation spirals out of control and John juggles the truth more and more outrageously.
Flaherty plays the teenage son Gavin Smith.
“He’s pretty stubborn, outgoing and outspoken and very persistent, especially when it comes to meeting Vicki who he’s met online and wants to meet in person,” he said.
“The script for Caught in the Net is unbelievably funny and I really wanted to be a part of something that was going to make audiences laugh.”
Vincent described the play as extremely fast-paced.
“When I directed Run For Your Wife at Limelight Theatre in 2016 it was extremely popular, so I decided to direct the sequel because it continues the story and has a brilliant ending,” she said.
