Tyler BrownWanneroo Times

Directed by Sharon Wigley, it tells the story of a mild-mannered, unemployed inventor, Leonard Vole.

Leonard is married but through a chance encounter, he becomes friendly with rich widow Emily French.

When he is accused of her murder, his solicitor refers the case to brilliant barrister, Sir Wilfred Robarts.

Wilfred believes his client to be innocent but Leonard's only alibi is his wife - the calm and coldly calculating Romaine Vole.
