City of Wanneroo rolls out free outdoor movie season

REGISTRATIONS open next week for free outdoor movies screening at Wanneroo’s Jacaranda Amphitheatre in 2020.

City of Wanneroo residents booked out passes for two Christmas films at Live in the Amphitheatre this month, the City will release tickets to residents and ratepayers for January movies on December 16 from 9am via Eventbrite.

If not sold out, any remaining tickets will open to the general public on December 20.

The program will include Lego Movie 2 on January 3, The Mule on January 4, Fantastic Beasts: Crime of Grindewald on January 10 and Mary Poppins Returns on January 17.

Other films featuring this season include A Star is Born on January 18, Creed on January 24 and Mama Mia! Here We Go Again on January 25.

The program includes several live events as well, including a four-hour Santa visit on December 14 from 1pm to 5pm.

There will be a magic and illusion show with Pierre Ulric followed by a circus workshop on January 11.

Mia Matthiessen will perform with her 10-piece jazz ensemble, The Perth Cabaret, on January 31 in an adults-only event.

Tickets for February films will be released to residents and ratepayers on January 13, with Top End Wedding due to screen on February 1 and Ralph Breaks the Internet on February 7.

There will also be a Morgan Jones Family Circus Show and workshop on February 8.

The Jacaranda Amphitheatre is located behind the Wanneroo Civic Centre on Dundebar Road.
