The Country Life, part of WA Royal Agricultural Societys FarmEd school program, raises awareness of where food comes from, sustainability, the use of technology in farming and careers available.

Music, dance, songs and puppetry were all woven into the show, which follows city girl Janets journey as she learns about aspects of farming.

Society president Rob Wilson said the importance of educating children about agriculture was one of priority for the organisation.

It is important children know where our food originates from, Dr Wilson said.

This entertaining and lively program teaches children about the significance of agriculture to our lives, our future and our economy.
