Fringe comedy comes to cafe

WANNEROO café Leapfrogs will bring Fringe World comedy to the northern suburbs.

Mickey D will kick things off on January 24 with his show Comedy Weapon.

The international comedian, ultra marathoner and adventure fiend ahs trained with the SAS, gigged at the base of Mt Everest and rubbed shoulders with the mountain gorillas of Rwanda.

On January 31, the Drovers Place venue will host Mums Gone Wild.

Lucy Ewing, Emma Krause, Simone Springer and Pony from the sell-out show Surviving the Circus will get real about life as mums.

On February 7, triple j ok presenter and 22-year-old rising star Ciaran Lyons will present his new stand-up show, having just supported Demetri Martin, Theo Von and Ron Funches on their Aussie tours.

Round it out, Comedians Vs Rappers will bring a high paced improv show to the venue on February 14.

Teams of four or five rappers will take on a team of comics in a variety of games building up to the all-in rap battle.
