Artist vists Beldon Primary Schools

The award-winning painter was at Beldon Primary School on Tuesday in the build-up to Naidoc Week next month as part of a City of Joondalup workshop program.

Other schools involved include South Padbury, Hillarys and Springfield primary schools, St Mark’s Anglican Community School and Montessori School.

Derek Nannup will lead dance and language workshops at St Mark’s tomorrow.

Next week, Hillarys primary students will learn about living sustainably off the land in fibre sculpting workshops with Sharyn Egan.

Other City Naidoc Week activities include Umbrella Walking tours at Neil Hawkins Park on Sunday, July 5, and July 12 and a Sunday Serenades Dreamtime concert on July 19.
