LOCAL beaches, bushlands and wetlands were featured in City of Joondalup⿿s 2015 Capture Nature photography competition.

Open to people aged 12 to 18 living or attending school in the City, the competition was held to commemorate World Environment Day on June 5.

This year, there were 100 entries narrowed down to 20 finalists.

Greenwood’s Laura Coombes won the $300 first prize for her image Splendid Fairy Wrens, Kallaroo’s Jakob Thompson won the $200 second prize and $150 City staff choice award for Misty on the Rocks and Mullaloo’s Zoe Hodgson won the $150 third prize for Here Be Dragons.
