The Adventures of Scrote Man and Pube Boy is an in-your-face pastiche of the superhero genre featuring two masked men in tights who really shouldn’t be. Their mission is to stop a nasty nemesis from plucking the unmentionables from Perth’s population.

Ellis plays Rugger, the right-hand man of the female villain Kntspiel.

‘He’s an Igor-type character, following orders from his boss as a matter of course,’ he said.

‘The play has its own small digs at Perth culture but doesn’t take itself too seriously and is willing to allow the audience to laugh at it, as well as with it, which I personally find quite refreshing.’
