Rose will perform in Punk Rock, a play about mental illness in young adults and the consequences of not seeking help.

‘There is absolutely no shame in reaching out and voicing your feelings because people are willing to help and there are many others who feel the same way,’ Rose said.

The play follows a group of affluent 17-year-olds in the lead up to the end of high school. As the play unfolds their sheltered worlds shatter and the harsh reality of their fate unfolds.

Rose plays psychologist Dr Richard Harvey, who is treating one of the characters for mental illness.
