Over the years, ceramic artist Val translated what she saw firstly to pots and platters and then, as a natural progression, to pastels on paper.
Land and seascapes became her passion and in 2006, she turned to oils.

Val will exhibit at the Wanneroo-Joondalup Art Society’s exhibition-sale at Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club from Saturday to Monday, May 25 to 27.
The award-winning artist is also donating the raffle prize.
The show is open on Saturday and Sunday, 9am-5pm, and Monday, 10am-4pm. Opening night is tomorrow, Friday, May 24, 7pm.
Refreshments are available from the club’s So Cafe.
