Written by Donald Margulies and directed by Noel O’Neill, the show sees a husband and wife re-evaluating their marriage after their closest friends decide to split after 12 years.

Grayden plays Beth, the woman who splits with her husband.

‘She’s complex and complicated yet what she wants is simple ” to love and be loved,’ Grayden said.

Describing Beth as an open and honest communicator, Grayden admitted that was why she admired the character.

‘Dinner With Friends is a wonderfully written play that offers everyone who has ever loved and lost a chance to reflect, consider and comment on the characters and thematic concerns.’

In 2000, the play won the Pulitzer Prize for drama.
