Tired Lion, of which three quarters are alumni from the Ocean Reef school, were named best rock act, beating Tame Impala, Pond and The Love Junkies, and best EP for Figurine.
Sophie Hopes, who graduated in 2009, and Matt Tanner and Ethan Darnell, who graduated in 2008, joined fellow band mate Nick Vasey to accept both awards while their manager Jacob Snell took out the management award.
“Thanks to everyone that’s helped us grow in the last 12 months,” they said on their Facebook page.
