Wangara: The West Australian School of Dance ballet students shine on national stage

WANGARA students have struck a chord on the national stage.

Fulltime classical ballet students from The West Australian School of Dance recently took part in the Royal South Street Society’s Grand National Eisteddfod of Australasia in Victoria, a competition that has been running for more than 120 years.

They won the open classical ensemble, while student Macee Ridley took out first place in both her classical and contemporary solos as did Isabella Smith for her contemporary solo in the younger age category.
