President Susan Payne said members would bring their latest and finest work off the easels and out of their studios to be “shown, admired, discussed and hopefully purchased by an ever increasing number of WA watercolour aficionados”.

The paintings will be judged in several categories, including best in show, general, still life, innovative and this year’s special category “Fremantle, The Passing Parade”.

The general public can vote for the “people’s choice” award.

The free exhibition is open on October 14 to 16 and will feature more than 200 watercolour paintings and demonstrations by the society’s members.
