$1.2m to fix |toilet facilities

Greenwood College will receive $900,000 and East Wanneroo $300,000.

Wanneroo MLA Paul Miles presented three grievance statements to State Parliament over the past three years for improved facilities at East Wanneroo primary.

‘By comparison to the high standards at all the other primary schools in the Wanneroo electorate, it seemed as though facilities at East Wanneroo primary had fallen through the cracks and was stuck in a 1970s time warp,’ he said.

‘For that reason, I’ve been persistent in Parliament about the need to replace the very old, inadequate and smelly toilet block at East Wanneroo primary, so this news is a great outcome for the school,’ he said.
