A compassionate and hair-raising donation

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

Locks of Love is a public not-for-profit organisation that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from hair loss from any medical illness.

This is the second time the St Anthony’s School student has made the cut.

‘The first time I did it I was really nervous but then I started thinking about all the kids with no hair and I thought ‘ok I need to do this’,’ Emily said.

‘I grow my hair long enough so I can donate it to these sick kids and hopefully it makes them happy that they have my beautiful hair.’

For anyone thinking about donating, the choice is a no brainer according to Emily.

‘Don’t stress, if you were bald, just think, you would want some hair wouldn’t you ” they want hair and you have hair to donate,’she said.
